What happens when I click on the "Donate Bibles for Free" button? Does the donation cost me anything?
When you click on the "Donate Bibles for Free" button, your compassionate act is registered by our computer. The computer adds your "donation" to the day's totals and sends you a thank you page. This page shows the name of the sponsor(s) who fund your donation (unless they choose to remain anonymous). There is absolutely no charge to you for the donation; it is fully paid for by the sponsor(s).

Why are sponsors willing to pay for the donation?
Our sponsor(s) fund the donations as part of their commitment to provide God's Word to those without it in restricted-access countries, and to raise awareness of the plight of persecuted Christians within the free Church.

How are the donated Bibles distributed?
The donated bibles are distributed through the global distribution networks of Open Doors with Brother Andrew (see The Bible Site -About Us for more details).

What kind of Bibles are distributed?
Open Doors works directly with the leaders of the local churches in each restricted country in which we minister. The Bibles we provide are in the language and version that these local leaders request as the type most in need in each particular country.

How often can I make a donation? Can I just keep clicking on the button and make a hundred donations?
You can make only one donation every day. Our agreement with our sponsor(s) only allows us to count one donation from you each calendar day; a monitoring system is set up to check this. So even if you click on the donation button multiple times, it would still only count as one donation. In the meantime our system could be slowed down and possibly overloaded, preventing other donations from being made.

Can we put a link from our own site to "The Bible Site"?
Yes, anyone may feel free to link to "The Bible Site." People are also welcome to point to "The Bible Site" in the signature block of their outgoing messages.
